The National Civil War Chaplains Museum will be closed for Spring Break during the weekends of March 8-9 and March 15-16.
However, it will be open on Tuesday, March 11, and Thursday, March 13, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM.

The Museum operates on the Liberty University academic schedule and will close when its students and faculty are on break during holidays and fall and spring breaks.

The Mission of the National Civil War Chaplains Research Center and Museum Foundation is:
To educate the public about the role of chaplains, priests, rabbis, and religious organizations in the Civil War.
To promote the continuing study of the many methods of dissemination of religious doctrine and moral teachings during the war.
To preserve Civil War religious artifacts.
To present interpretive programs that show the influence of religion on the lives of political and military personnel.
